EXPANDING ACCESS WITH WELLS FARGO
This past year, Wells Fargo deepened its commitment
to 昀椀 nancial health by funding the return of FEC’s mobile
counseling, based at the McGruder Family Resource Center
in North Nashville. This expansion ensures that 昀椀 nancial
empowerment services reach even more residents where
they are.
SUCCESS STORY:
CARLY’S JOURNEY TO FINANCIAL FREEDOM
Carly came to the FEC in fall 2024 overwhelmed by student
loans and revolving debt. With guidance from her counselor
and Legal Aid Society, she successfully renegotiated her
private student loans to a 0% interest rate over 20 years,
reducing her monthly payment from $1,200 to $518.20. She
also enrolled in a debt management plan projected to save
$14,402 in 昀椀 nance charges. Carly’s story exempli昀椀 es how
personalized support and strategic planning can lead to
lasting 昀椀 nancial stability.
