SEASON OF SHARING
Expanding Community Connection Through Service
What began as Give Thanks, a single day of service held near Thanksgiving,
has evolved into Season of Sharing—a broader, more responsive initiative
designed to meet the growing, year-round needs of our community.
Launched Oct. 1 of 2025 and extending through the winter months, Season
of Sharing creates multiple opportunities for individuals, families and groups
to connect with local nonpro昀椀 ts through meaningful acts of service and
kindness. Volunteers engage in a wide range of activities, from serving meals
and sorting donations to ful昀椀 lling nonpro昀椀 t wish lists, ensuring support
reaches organizations during a period of heightened demand.
By expanding beyond a single day, Season of Sharing offers greater 昀氀 exibility
for volunteers and deeper, sustained impact for nonpro昀椀 t partners—meeting
critical needs when resources are often stretched the most.
Season of Sharing facilitated more than 2,500 volunteer connections,
demonstrating strong community engagement and reinforcing the power of
collective action to support neighbors in need during the winter season.
