Further, we see meaningful differences in workforce conditions across neighborhoods.
Centers in low- and middle-income neighborhoods may be facing the greatest challenges,
with lower levels of educator qualifications, lower wages, and higher staff turnover. As
greater Davidson County seeks to support the region9s ECE workforce, these differences
highlight the importance of targeted approaches that ensure families across the region have
access to qualified and well-supported educators.
