The Family Collective (TFC) is an initiative of the United Way
of Greater Nashville dedicated to preventing and solving the
problem of family homelessness across our region.
The Family Collective brings together agencies and services
to give families a singular source of support in addressing
their longer-term needs. TFC is instrumental in swiftly
moving individuals and families experiencing homelessness
into stable housing and then helping them navigate and
overcome complex economic hurdles, empowering them to
plan a more secure future.
Our work is to improve the current system, transforming
a collection of siloed services into an ecosystem of
coordinated support. UWGN provides the framework, data,
funding and guidance to help agencies address root causes
of homelessness and serve families faster, more effectively
and with better long-term outcomes that will impact
generations to come.
Over the course of the four-year project, TFC served 3,135
families, including 5,013 adults and 6,531 children.
