UNITED WAY OF GREATER NASHVILLE
We’ve continued to play an important role in
long-term recovery efforts from natural disasters,
creating the Clarksville-Montgomery County LongTerm Relief Group to address the devastating and
lingering effects of the December 2023 tornadoes.
Our presence in the area meant we already had
the tools and capabilities to respond swiftly and
ef昀椀 ciently in response to the disaster.

Davidson County Long-Term Recovery Group, working
to address the long-term needs of individuals in
Nashville who have been impacted by disaster.
BUILDING ON THE GROWTH IN 2025
We now fund over 150 partners across our nine-county
region, and this expanded footprint translates to more
neighbors in need. It is critical to be able to paint a
true picture of the need in each county, with data,
testimonials and stories. In 2025 and beyond, we’ll
continue to build on our own progress from last year,
while focusing on those left behind by our region’s
economic growth.
A key part of our organizational progression will
be our ability to be nimble and 昀氀 exible with funding
and support services. We will encourage giving to
our Community Fund, which allows us to identify
the greatest needs that tend to ebb and 昀氀 ow
across counties.
Serving all of our counties is important to our work,
which is why we’re going to continue to expand our
impact and support days of action at a county level,
explore further expansion of Hands On services across
our entire footprint, and continue Mission United,
launched in 2024 to focus on support services that serve
active military members, their families and veterans.
